Ask about packing, protective wrapping and dismantling or reassembly when you request a quote. Tell us about fragile items, antiques and furniture that may not fit through a doorway or staircase.

Parking distance, stairs, lifts and narrow doorways affect the work involved. A video survey can help us understand both properties and discuss the practical details before moving day.
Moving day and key collection
We ask if another household is moving into the collection property that day, whether you must vacate by a set time and when the keys to your new property should be available. Those details help us identify potential waiting periods and agree realistic arrangements.
What to show in your video survey
Film each room and the furniture to be taken, including large wardrobes, beds, appliances and items in outbuildings. If there are steep steps, restricted parking or narrow access, show those as well. Several short videos are fine.
