Protecting a sofa for transport

Here's a brief photo guide on how to use our sofa covers to protect them ready for transport. This guide is for the 3 seater sofas, but it's the same principle for the 2 seaters and armchairs.

3 Seater Leather Sofa

Turn sofa onto it's back so you can remove the feet

Put feet & fixings into a secure bag and store in the zip compartment under the sofa if it has one

Now tip sofa onto its knees

Pull over the sofa cover so the back of the cover sits on the back of the sofa

Tip the sofa back onto its normal position, and fold cover in place

Stand sofa on its end

Wrap shrink wrap around the top and towards the middle

Now flip the sofa

And finish of wrapping the rest of it

The sofa is now protected, waterproofed and all ready to transport

You can get away with not shrinkwrapping the whole sofa, and just shrinkwrap it in places to keep the cover in place. That is down to the team's discretion on the day
